What do I need to download to use GTV?
or How do I connect to GTV?
Nothing. Simply use quake 3 to connect to the GTV server. Enter the address
and port of the GTV server into your favorite server browser, or run quake 3
and type \connect serverIP:srverPORT in the console.
I connect to a GTV server but all I get is the test_bigbox map and no game?
Test_bigbox is the map GTV uses as a "waiting room". To watch a game use the
gtv_watch command. Games that are available to watch are listed in the
center of your screen, or can be listed with the gtv_gamelist command.
Can I record the game while watching GTV?
Yes. Recording while watching GTV is the same as recording on a normal server. Bring down the
console and type \g_synchronousClients 1 then \record filename then \g_synchronousClients 0.
I get stuck at "Awaiting Gamestate" when connecting

This is a suspected bug in GTV on certain connections. Wait for 15 seconds, and then try reconnecting.
